why should I believe it
if that's all that's in store
where do I fit

still no closer to the truth
what did I miss

whisper soft and sweet
equations repeat repeat repeat
nonsense rhymes for modern times
on unstable ground our knowledge climbs
imagination is real
and words seldom tell me how you feel

your words are outside of me
I let in the ones I want to
adding to insanity
I don't know which parts of me are true

so much to say
all beyond comprehending
